[00:01:08] And yes, I do talk about them all the time. But they fuel your momentum and keep you on track.
Recognizing Small Wins as Progress
[00:01:15] You need to recognize small wins as progress. These are stepping stones. So, the first part of staying motivated is to actually recognize them as progress. Each little step you take that moves you closer to your goal is a win.
[00:01:31] Even if it doesn't feel like a huge leap, you are still moving forward. Whether it's finishing a task, making a tough decision, or learning something new, every single win counts. When you take the time to recognize and celebrate these moments, it reinforces the idea that you're moving forward. That shift in mindset can give you the boost you need to keep going, even on tough days.
Tracking Your Small Wins
[00:01:58] I suggest that you track your small wins. One powerful way to celebrate them is to track them.
[00:02:06] Whether it's in a journal, or on the notes section of your phone, in a planner, using our daily success framework, just writing down your wins, no matter how small, creates a sense of accomplishment. Tracking these movements not only helps you stay motivated, but it also gives you a visual reminder of your progress over time.
[00:02:27] Start or end your day by listing out a few wins. Maybe you've completed a difficult task. You took a step outside your comfort zone. Or you stayed consistent with a habit. Writing these down helps you see that every step forward matters.
Rewarding Yourself for Small Wins
[00:02:45] You also should reward yourself. Celebrating the small wins doesn't have to be a giant production, but it's important to reward yourself.
[00:02:54] Rewards can be as simple as taking a break, enjoying your favorite snack, or doing something that makes you happy. These small celebrations help you reinforce the positive momentum that you have created. By rewarding yourself, you are telling your brain that progress is important.
