[00:00:27] Today we're talking about something we all face, how to stay motivated when things get hard. Whether you're facing challenges in your business, personal life, or some goals, it's easy to get overwhelmed and want to quit.
[00:01:16] But here's the truth, hard times don't last, and you're stronger than you think. So let's dive in to how you can motivate yourself to keep going when it feels tough.
Tip 1: Break It Down
[00:01:26] Tip number one. Break it down. When things get overwhelming, one of the best ways to stay motivated is to break things down into smaller, manageable steps. Sometimes it's the big picture that can feel daunting. By focusing on one small task at a time, you will feel in control. Each step forward is progress, and that progress adds up.
[00:01:49] Ask yourself, what's one small thing that I can accomplish today? Focus on that and give yourself credit for every bit of progress that you make.
Tip 2: Remember Your Why
[00:01:58] Tip number two, remember your why. When things get tough, it's important to reconnect with your why. The reason you started your journey in the first place. Why did you set this goal?
[00:02:10] What's the bigger purpose behind your efforts? Reminding yourself of your deeper motivation can reignite your passion and give you the energy to push through those hard moments. So, take a few minutes and write down your why. Reflect on how far you've come. You didn't come this far, only to come this far.
Tip 3: Celebrate Small Wins
[00:02:29] Tip number 3.. Celebrate small wins. We tend to get discouraged when we focus on only how far we have to go yet. Instead, focus on celebrating the small wins. Did you complete a task, learn something new, or overcome a challenge?
[00:02:46] Every win, no matter how small, is a step in the right direction. Recognizing and celebrating your progress fuels your motivation to keep going. You deserve to feel proud of how far you've come.
